Justice Elena Kagan speaks out against “DOMA”

Paul Clement lawyer hired by House Republicans in an effort to defend their stance regarding DOMA was no match for Justice Kagan. The Justice adamantly quoted a portion of a report on DOMA from the House Judiciary Committee “Congress decided to reflect and honor of collective moral judgement and to express moral disappointment of homosexuality.” Justice Kagan clearly wasn’t letting the fact DOMA denied people the right to equality, mainly LBGT Community.

Justice Kagan’s factual and aggressive comments did not sit well with Republicans.

The SCOTUS remarks today “Good or Bad” for LBGT Community?

Listening to the Supreme Court of The U.S. for the past two days has been quite an experience for all Americans. I considered all remarks from all Justices to be very shady and not forthcoming as I had expected. Justice Kennedy however outspoken he migh have presented himself on the first and second day, only left tongues waging and guessing his real inner thoughts on the issues before him. Although in my opinion, he made the most important point in reference to the children involved by living and being raised by same-sex couples. I must agree with Justice Kennedy.

That leads me to acknowledge the twin brothers (children of plaintiffs Kris Perry & Sandy Stier) speaking out in honor of their parents. They were well prepared and spoke highly of the parents. There appearance was very powerful, especially for young Americans and a solid voice for the 40, 000 children living with same sex couples as Justice Kennedy so eloquently put it.

Why is Andrew Breitbart RELEVANT? “LAME MEDIA” ushers him to the podium.

Well, Sarah Palin has one thing right! The media can be “LAME”.  I mean this was a room full of respectable media/news outlets. Some of  them had the audacity to invite Andrew Breitbart to the podium opposed to waiting and listening to a  United States Congressman. I mean really…is Andrew Breitbart RELEVANT when a congresman is scheduled to speak? Not in my world, not in my world!!!!!

Now, everyone knows why Sarah Palin nicknamed them “LAME MEDIA”.  (Score Sarah Palin 1 – Lame Media 0)

Sarah Palin, please tell me why? I mean really…Why? You resigned as governor of Alaska and you mean to tell me you have not taken classes/private tutoring for American History, Political Science or gotten yourself a LIBRARY CARD! You cannot dodge the fact that you did not have a clue to the Paul Revere question. What an embrassment to FOX NEWS! Oh sorry, FOX NEWS has absolutely no morals, so you definately get a pass from that network.

Mrs. Palin, your 15 minutes have almost ended and you are only holding on by your ignorance. Please read a book after all you are not just an extremist, hateful person, you are a woman and you are making women from all walks of life look stupid. Your wardrobe, glasses, shoes, and hairdo is a NON-FACTOR at this point. The “yahoo” there’s Sarah Palin has ended and all you have left is your intellect. Rush Limbaugh is one of the most famous homophobic, conservatives to date, and his guest list of self- proclaimed anti-gay Americans  with Values were entertained  by one of the worlds most talented, openly gay entertainers. Sir Elton John is also married to his lifetime partner.

Rush went to extreme measures to keep the wedding quiet in his effort to avoid this issue. He also would have loved to keep Sir Elton John’s performance a secret. Sorry, Rush the world knows now that you actually do love the boyz! ditto
